[DESCRIPTION]
The scientists conducting the experiments were the first to pay the price. Weak but relentless, they'll come at you with whatever blunt (or sharp) implement they can lay their bloodied hands on. In this case, knives, wrenches, axes and crowbars.

This submission is intended to supersede my previous 2 scientist submissions as they are included in this pack, with some minor improvements.

Very, very good, Scalliano! Some more melee zombies sounds nice! The only thing I'd like to point out is that the scratching sound doesn't fit for the crowbar guy, in my opinion. It's not bad, and I can't think of a better sound, but just pointing it out.

Hum... Maybe one of that sounds of the pipe from Who Dun It? (Or the maybe even that frying pan from CIF3)

edit: "duh" for me. Of course the HL sounds would be the better ones. -_-

That sounds better.

And, I'm sorry for not noticing it earlier, but in the Crowbar Guy's obituary, it says "%o was prised open by a zombie scientist." I believe it should be "pried".

maybe you could also have some scientists with syringe guns, or just throwing syringes, like tf2 medic, or dr. scabbs from wolfenstein ?-)

Or maybe a version that throws vials of stuff (like the Hexen flechettes, maybe). That would be rad! But a lot of work, too, so I'll be thankful for what we're getting already. :)

It can be either. Depends on where you're from, I suppose ;)

@DK & MW: It doesn't end here, although I've no plans for any further lab-tech-type enemies. I'm hoping to do some hazmat-type zombies a la Doom 3 - one armed with a cattleprod (originally intended for the retrieval of "live" specimens) and one with a bolt-gun (for the retrieval of reasonably-conditioned dead ones :P). Also possibly some engineer-types, most likely including a tweaked version of KDiZD's chainsaw guy - one that looks more like a zombie than a generic B-movie maniac ;)

And, of course, these ones here can be edited freely by anyone else (usual credit guidelines apply) :D

EDIT: Come to think of it, a syringe enemy with a poison attack sounds cool. I want to keep these enemies melee-only though, and leave the firearms to the "experts" ;)
