As some of you may notice, I have added footstep sounds to the SNDINFO and the TERRAIN lump. I tried to catch all of them and put them in the right directory, but it's very possible that I've missed a few or put a few in the wrong directory. If you find something or if you want to help, feel free to check that stuff and improve it - that would be cool as it is quite a lot to do on my own.

It's sorted from A to Z so you will have it easy when checking which texture is missing in the set.

*EDIT*
Noticed that I didn't add the original flats/textures to the list, and also noticed that it isn't working yet while you are walking, only if you are dropping or jumping. Maybe someone else can fix/add that as well.

Never played zdoom related projects that make use of footsteps while walking. I recall reading a post where someone said it was impossible to do.

Don't know if this is true or not since there have been quite some updates after that.

I have a mod that does that for stock Doom flats (Particle Fire Enhancer Mod) for ZDoom, so it is possible.

I kinda like not having footstep sounds constantly. I think just for landing in stuff is enough.

But the idea for repeated footsteps is generally to spawn a lot of invisible actors.
I want YOU to read the wiki.
And this one too. Also, SLADE3.

No, it didn't.

What do you mean? Didn't you record hitting the ground with some shoes for that mod? Or was it someone else?

Not constantly or permanent, it's also just like in HPack now, only by hitting the ground.
