heres some progress on my map so far, the screenshots arnt entirely finished

my map is 15% done and is now on the svn

the map on svn also contains the music on it so tell me what you think of the music for the map. if it fits or not

heres some screenshots of some traps you will find in this map.


lighted square traps(in screenshots above) will kill anyone that walks on a lighted and colored square, luckly when one group of squares are lighted up and deadly the others are unlighted and safe. perfect movement and timing allows you to survive such traps.

Honestly, I didn't like that music. I don't think ambient sound tracks would work well in Heretic, especially given the rest of the maps use more classical melodic tracks. And there are many ambient sound things that can be used instead of relying on a looping ambient song.

my map will be undergoing some delays because i have picked back up d2mzd and im remaking my global death wad.

however my map is half way done anyways.

Must be exported to be able to run it!

See this thread - the map WAD file contains extra lumps which interfere the map from being played. The said resources need to be exported into the PK3 to be able to play the map.

thx for the heads up nightfall, i just fixed the map and it should be playable now

oopse sorry about my absence i was doing other things ill get to work on my map as soon as i release my beta of globaldeath which should be like 3 days
