I was looking at the submission rules:
Use paletted PNGs for sprites. Since PNGs ignore palette, or adapt to the IWad being used, it makes it much easier to use the monsters in different games. Make sure the sprites are paletted (256 color palette).
I think I understand what it means... it allows sprites to be translated in the games, is it right?
But I don't know how to do it.
I've saved my sprites as PNG and loaded it with Slade3 (avoiding the palette disaster that has occurred with my EyeClaw
), so how should I 'palletize' my sprites now? And what program could I use for it?
