I am currently working on a custom font for ZDCMP2 based on one from Mechadon. Thougj I am having some trouble, mostly with the menue colors as I have no idea how MENUDEF works and the wiki doesn't help either in terms of examples.

What I'd like to achieve is having the smallfont in the options menu base color grey, and if marked, then gold instead of bright red. Same goes to the heaqdlines ofthe bigfont - they shouldn't be translated to red but instead stay as they are.

I've uploaded the font and what I've got so far, maybe someone else is more skilled with this kind of stuff.

Check the menudef.txt in zdoom.pk3.

You can set some information in MAPINFO's Gameinfo Definition to change the default menu colors. That should do it without any mucking about with MENUDEF.

Just a minor note: something might need to be done about the 'clutterness' shown in the ammo display.

Don't worry about that -- that's actually because the numbers' positions are different in the modified statusbar in the main .pk3, since I had to make room for the new ammo types. Run the status bar along with it and it'll align just fine. ;)
