Okay guys, I really hope that Apo and Xaser are able to finish their current work in the next few days so we can start betatesting, cooptesting and finalize what we've got.

The question now is: Should we run a public beta test or should we only test in privacy?

Public beta test seems like a good idea. I mean, the map is already public in that anybody can visit the forum and grab the links from there. Announcing a public beta will attract more attention to it and get more people to report what they like and (mostly) what they don't like.
I want YOU to read the wiki.
And this one too. Also, SLADE3.

Gez, would you mind organizing the public beta test based on Xaser's latest version from here?
viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2313&start=480

It is about time to finish this now and I am currently working on the arrangement of Phase 4 (see development thread) where things are being finalized, cleaned and released. During this phase, people should beta test and at the same time post bugs the encounter directly in our Bugtracker including screenshots and stuff. Someone just needs to make this public, maybe even pick people (ask them directly) which are used to these kind of mods and who are also very responsible with such a test.
