Hello,
I know, i know... i'm not suppose to speak about Doom's maps, but...
As i said in the title, i've got two maps made initially for Doom, but they could be fine in this project
The maps take place in an old Korax temple
Here some pics of the map 2

The only thing... i have to convert the textures in doom palette, to the heretic's palette.
Or, could i save them in png (without changing the palette), and load them in the texture pack.
If yes how could i do?
Thanks
Pics of the map 1 soon...

If you're serious about converting them; I'd suggest starting by looking how you could replace those textures with those already found in HPack. Some of them are even probably already there.
I want YOU to read the wiki.
And this one too. Also, SLADE3.

Agreed, but that should be doable with the sheer amount of textures we have in HPack.

The shots look awesome, would be an honor to have such quality stuff in HPack :)

It's not so difficult ^^ i extracte my textures from my wad, saved them in png, and i'd put them in the pk3 (textures folder).
I know, my methode is a little bit "barbare", is their an another technic ?

There is no so much textures... 15 maximum.

I have a question :
How could i erase the doom entries of my map ? When i insert a new sprite (decoration, monster, etc...) i have the heretic AND doom sprites (annoying isn't it ).

Well, I'd suggest using "Search and Replace" in DB2, that works for textures as well as for objects. You just need to figure out before which texture/object from Doom (or your custom ones) can be replaced thematically with which texture/object from HPack.

Then it's just 15 textures to research & replace. Shouldn't take a while. Really, we have a ton of them and we're currently trying to cut down on data content rather than increase it more.

I star the conversion of my wad, and, for the moment, i've got no problems (execpt some differents triggers between Doom and Heretic ).
I post some pics (don't worry about the missing textures and other things, it's just a wip)

Initialy, this wad contain 2 maps. This map will be a great place for a fight againts Korax (or a hard mini-boss).
For the textures, i think (and i am sure), they match perfecly with the "ambiance".

So, can i replace my map H3M10 (i've got no idea about how could i finish it) by this two wads?

Nice! I'd replace the lavafall with the Heretic wavy lavafall texture, looking good!
