ZDoom in Hexen format or UDMF?

The first X slots could be done in Hexen format, and then the map converted to UDMF and finished this way.

Last I checked, UDMF has support for named scripts now so I would think that would be the better choice for background scripting/effects.

Indeed... Phase 2 might become a problem then. Concerning DB2, do you have a second computer or a laptop running any Windows that can handle DB2?

Hmm. Maybe if this extremely convulted master plan succeeds I'll have a working db2 environment up.

Hexen format can do tags more than 255, the restriction applies on special parameters, though.. it tends to be annoying as hell.

So atm, Dusk seems to be the only one who runs into real trouble if we work with UDMF afaik. Let's hope he gets this problem solved I guess
