Golden Souls - Live!

Tormentor667

Golden Souls 2 StreamOne week ago, Batandy streamed a session over Twitch showcasing his project Golden Souls 2 including a lot of never-seen-before footage and also some live mapping. I took the opportunity to watch it myself last sunday and had a lot of fun talking to the author and watching the video. For all those SNES/N64-nerds out there, who share the same enthusiasm to Batandy's mod, I really encourage you to watch the recorded version at Youtube (part 1 | part 2). The whole thing is about 2 and a half hours, but it's worth every second. If you are looking for some more material afterwards, just check the development thread over at ZDoom.org.

Ashes

Ashes

I've already followed the development of Vostyok's project Ashes for a while now. At the beginning, I already found it a bit too ambitious but since the screenshots proof, that the author knows what he does, it's time to give the mod a bit more attention. So what is…

Skulldash Expansion

Skulldash Expansion

A few days ago, we reported the release of DragonFly's arcade-style mod SkullDash. The new approach was well-received by the community and therefore an expansion pack was inevitable, not only in my and many other Doomer's eyes but also for the author himself. And well,…

Deem 2: ReDeem'd

It's already been a while since jokewads like Nuts or The Community is Falling have been in fashion - not a sad fact if you ask me, but that's just my opinion. But "look now, what JaxxonR has done to our world" by starting it all over with a new project he is…

Space Wars released

A good mixture of Doom's gameplay and Dark Forces' visuals, this is what Doomed Space Wars from Paul Corfiatis stands for. The story for this megaward is quite basic: An abandoned imperial space station named "Ondor" has been hijacked by an unknown force and is…

Five Rooms is enough

The community has already proven to be very creative when it comes to restrictions. Not only in the early beginnings of Vanilla but also in later days, just remember the 10 Sectors Contest of Doomworld in the late 90's. Keeper of Jericho had another interesting idea,…
