This category displays only the monsters which are based on similar Doom monsters or fit better in Doom-style settings. This doesn't mean that you can't place them into Heretic, Hexen or Strife maps / mods as well, it is only meant as a little style guide and help.

Like the Zombie Railgunner, with two main differences; first, its railgun is weak, but rapid fire. Secondly, it has a chance to charge up its railgun (while walking around) for a more powerful blast. After it starts charging, it can't attack for a while, but can hold the charge until it shoots.

There are two versions included:
Stone Imp (original): An Imp variant with no projectile attack. Bit more health than the Imp, but just as slow and can only melee. It is completely immune to electric/lightning and poison based-attacks, has decent resistant to fire-based attacks. but slightly weak against ice-based attacks.
Stone Imp ("hidden"): This is similar to the Stone Imp, except it has a bit more of an ambush tactic. When spawned, it will basically be an exact replica of one of two green marble column decorations. However, when approached, these will morph into Stone Imps with slightly higher speeds and no alert sound to ambush the player.

A very simple monster: Runs towards the player and explodes. Doesn't have much health, and explodes when killed as well.

Through many slipgates and dimensions this commando has traveled, in order to bring you pain and suffering. He totes a chaingun like your own, and a "tentacle whip" for an arm to strike down any who gets too close to him, unless he's already started his unceasing barrage. Acts like a regular chaingunner that happens to be bigger, meatier, and faster. Can perform a melee attack on you provided you're close enough, and he hasn't started his endless salvo of chaingun fire yet.

This Imp, has some control over time. It has a chance to freeze the time for you, while it still can move around, attack with projectiles that still fly. Any form of time freeze has no effect on this monster, neither the "freeze" command in console or a Time Freeze item. After it dies the first time, it releases it's soul, but the soul will be "reversed back in time", into the imp's budy agian, and it is revived, but this time the imp is more aggresive.

If you didn't hate the chaingunners already, this beefy zombie will surely make you see red in no time. With added armor and a bigger gun, this zombie can take more abuse and dish it out twice as hard. Luckily, the heavy gun slows it down a bit more and it leaves itself wide open when it stops firing. Take that window and send it back to hell!
