Dear visitors and members, the Realm667 has been online and active for over 15 years, making it one of the longest-running and most vibrant Doom pages. Initially, it served as a platform for my personal work, and hosting costs were manageable as traffic and webspace needs grew slowly.

However, since 2010, Realm667 has evolved from a showcase of Tormentor667's projects into a vast resource community, offering an extensive array of data to all its visitors. This expanded service requires significant webspace, generates substantial traffic, and demands ongoing maintenance. To give you an idea of the scale, the site now handles between 80,000 MB to 120,000 MB of traffic each month and receives approximately 6,000,000 hits.

With a basic web hosting pack and the traffic that continuously increases since Realm667 is growing, the overall costs for this page (un)fortunately increase as well. Instead of closing this place, we want to keep it alive and continue to provide all that stuff that has been collected so far. We know that it won't get better with even more resources in the future, thanks to all the creative minds in our community.

We pay the web hosting out of our own pockets and invest a lot of free time into this project. The Realm667 is a community project, serving as a base for people's work and a place where people can showcase their stuff and download resources for their personal projects. Every year, the hosting and maintenance cost about $400. We want to keep the site ad-free and working, continuing to provide a good service for everyone. But it's a give and take.
