Found a few bugs, the weapon sprites are couple pixels too high like the railgun and the ammo icon and count doesn't appear in the HUD, the railgun has the same problem btw.
The sprite's perspective seems a bit off? at least compared to other weapons this one seems to aim upwards. I guess this perspective could work if you added a hand grabbing a handle so it looks like its held low.

Found a few bugs, the weapon sprites are couple pixels too high like the railgun and the ammo icon and count doesn't appear in the HUD, the railgun has the same problem btw.
I'm not experiencing those hud problems on my end, I've even tried playing in different resolutions, updating my gzdoom, and still nothing. Strange.

I see. I updated the OP and fixed that issue in both the rail gun and the gpmg, the ammo icon bug you described still eludes me though.

The ammo counter doesn't appear in the alternate hud because it lacks the inventory.icon property. It should be "Inventory.Icon GGASA0"
And yeah, the perspective of the gun looks really weird.

It's a decent bullet weapon but yeah the perspective on the barrel is still weird.

I tried a mockup using Gimp's perspective tool but it would need further work to clean it up.
