Rules, technically. They're necessary, not optional.

It's also debatable whether your "first weapon" is suitable for the repository. (I still have a lot of my first stuff, most of it is too terrible to distribute.) It's a good idea to get some modding experience before trying to submit here.

yeah its my first weapon i POSTED but i have made tons more
im currently working on a weapon mod with so far 12+ weapons

so im pretty sure i have ALOT of modding experience

P.S other than doom i have been moding/makeing games
for 3 years now i currently know C#/C++/Java/LUA/HTML/CSS and visual basic script

how doesnt my post fallow the rules?
im confused i read them and posted my weapon

Ok, so I downloaded it and tried it.

First off, it requires another mod to function. This is not something we do. If needed, the code can be ASKED to be put in the submission to make it function.
The weapon itself is a direct rip of the Intervention from MW2. Direct rips like this are not allowed; we want them to aim for a specific style.
The function of the weapon is basic, but given the fact that it's a sniper rifle, I didn't expect something fancy. The way the bolt is operated is a bit....weird. Don't know how to explain it. The sound is fine at least.
Usually, we don't allow weapons that reload either unless there are two versions of the weapon (one reloads, casings, etc, the other is basic).

It's your first weapon. Don't feel discouraged, you'll get better with time.
As it stands, while I can't say it's fate because I'm not a mod, I will say it's chances are highly unlikely.

sounds pretty picky to me reload is usually something someone likes in a weapon mod it makes it
more realistic

no offense to admins but i can see my work is not appreciated here
so i will find another doom forum to post my weapons
