Honestly, this just feels like a reskin of your previous weapon , the only differences are the sprites and that it fires slower.

If you are saying that it needs different sounds, then yes, that makes sense.

My "previous weapon" wasn't really "my weapon". It was a franken attempt from multiple sources and authors to create a revolver with reload for DOOM style.

This though is my FIRST totally unique sprite and it took me a lot of time to make it the way it is.
So I would really love to host it on Realm667 for other modders to use.

So if you think that you can give me constructive feedback (like different sounds etc), then please be my guest.
I would appreciate a full list of what needs changing/improvement, after which I will do my best to accomodate it.

I like it!

However on a design note. Try to steer away from the wooden old western feel. That's great and all when it comes to doing older style period maps and episodes. Blade Runner was futuristic and yes I do remember the skin style being roughly the same?

However. this is the UAC man! Add some fluorescent features. make the your FLASH sprite blue with a purplish/aqua type colour. I don't know if you know this, but I've rarely seen plasma pistols in any of the doom mods I've played with.

Awesome work on your creation though! I wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to making new weapons. I mainly do sounds and maps.

~Peace

Looks like the 5.56mm Pistol/That Gun from Fallout New Vegas. Can download the sounds from there. For experimentation?

A pretty nice weapon. I like the look of it. I do have a slight issue with the timing on when the hitscan actually fires though. It feels delayed just a touch since it fires at the end of the flash cycle instead of the beginning.

That's because it's based on the same design from Blade Runner.

(Never seen Blade runner & had just finished a game of NV, forgetting that a lot of the weapons, material used in Fallout was inspired by or made in tribute/reference to cult classics)

It looks fantastic. Great for a game/mod/WAD that has an upgradable weapons system & this being the upgrade to your standard pistol.

There's a delay between the firing frame and when it actually shoots.

Any update on this?

If you are saying that it needs different sounds, then yes, that makes sense.

If you can find different sounds for the firing (and if possible, reloading), so it doesn't blend with the Magnum Revolver, then that would be great.
