Hello, this is SkeletronMK666 and this is my submission to ream667. I seen a toy in the store and thought: this would be a cool gun.
it had a golden barrel, so i took pictures of it and made it into an ulitmate weapon of destruction.

I only have one question.

How did you manage to render a toy gun into a workable sprite?!?!?
Teach me! Oh Master Gunsmith! I have HUGE ideas for my own custom arsenal.

Been waiting for someone to make another weapon that uses rockets as an ammo
type. It has a very Quakeish feel to it. Like Quake II for example. It's very pixelated
however. is that a product of image conversion to sprite platform?

Also, any chance of making a Centre orientated version?

This is something else entirely! Awesome work bro!
Last edit: 2 years 5 months ago by Gunslahyer_Pi. Reason: Spell check and centre orientation notation

So you just created a raster image off a phone camera?? That's really ingenius.
How did you compensate for the transparent BG so it only shows the model
of the weapon and not the background? Did you use anything else?

I've gotta try this!

the sprite took a lot of cleaning up, also i had to change the color of the orange parts with the hue/sateration tool, along with adding shine and adding a bit of color by drawing over those parts manually

Impressive! I can see you've put a lot of work into it. Keep working on it man.
I really want to try and make my own. I can code my own DECORATE when it
comes to coding the weapons, including ALT-Fires. I'm hoping, when you have
time, you'll make a centered version. :)

Generally, One tends to add the centred sprites to the main post of the original weapon submission and then add a notation (comment) along the lines of;

"Have both angled and centered versions in two separate .pk3 files"

Coding them separately seems like a tedious task, however it adds greater
flexibility for beginners.

On an off note but still related to your work. I found and downloaded your T800 monster mod. Oh boy. You should definitely repost it. It really cuts the mustard!
Huge mistake for the repository not to have it.

Of course, please ensure you follow the guidelines. :)
