When I think techbase ambience, I usually have in mind bleeping computers, engines, humming lights, etc. Most of these sounds are just wind in the background and clicking, which sound more like background noise on a film.
TBASAMB5, TBASAMB6, TBASAMB7 & TBASAMB8 are more fitting for a techbase, which sound like humming lights or monitors, and TBASAMB9 sounds like a corrupted version of that.
I think they could use more short lenghts, they're just extended loops of very simple sounds, which don't justify having filesizes higher than 2 MBs.

Should i Just rename them to general ambience?

If you ask me, keep the files AMB5 to 8, cut them to 5 seconds or less (make sure they loop correctly), and rename this submission "Background Humming" (or is it "buzzing", my english isn't that fluent), I can see some of them getting good use.

Little misunderstanding: Cut them down to 5 sounds, not 5 seconds - there's a typo in Gothic's reply I guess.

No, I actually meant 5 seconds, as the sounds are that short, and only AMB5, AMB6, AMB7 and AMB8 should be used.

It's been a while since this has been touched. This should be ready to go if the files TBASAMB1, TBASAMB2, TBASAMB3, TBASAMB4 and TBASAM10 get cut, since they don't fit with the rest of the sounds. Would you be ok with those changes?
