Besides the sprites, this doesn't seem too different from the Chaingun Spider it was inspired by.

Well, I can change it's stats to make it weaker and smaller, if that will make it better.

Want my honest opinion? This monster actor is a rip from the chaingun spider and arachnotron. Respectively. however, make it possible
for these little b*stards to crawl on the ceiling and 1/2 the size of the arachnotron. These would be nasty AF.

I see what you mean and I think that stealth-crawly-enemy idea is great. I will also work change it's sprites a bit to make it more original, like instead of chaingun it will use submachine gun.

Because it is a brain, what about some sort of psychic attack? Maybe it could pull in players towards it or repulse them, a telekinesis kind of thing? Or psychic zaps that disorientate or stun the player? That could be annoying though.

I'm currently working on making it more stealthy, like making it sometimes partialy invisible.

You can adjust the actor's Render style to Translucent and then adjust the amount of transparency using the Alpha setting to make it either completely invisible or partly invisible like the Spectre, Phantom/Wraith or the Ghost mummys from Heretic.

I've done this with a couple of the monsters in my megawad I'm making. I even brought in the ever terrifying and frustrating Phantom/Wraith demon from Brutal Doom.
