Idea Base: The fact the brutal doom weapons don't have classic glove forms which is really annoying for people who want to retain classic gloves

Description: After the brutal brawl with the spider demon after the events of the first DooM, the UAC Recovered the spider mastermind parts and gibs, but took the chaingun in specialty, they have remade it to shoot 20-35 pellets per shot, all incendiary and armor penetrating, while some would consider this a joke weapon, it's best to be put at the end game to make it not over powered.

I see that there's no sound info about this "Weapon/anndth" so it won't be played, as well as for the MSHRLEXP sound file

  • The game doesn't startup due to Weapon.SlotNumber not getting a number passed, comment out that whole line instead.
  • Submissions should be packaged in PK3 archives, not WADs.
  • There seem to be two identical sounds included.
  • Why do the puffs have a speed defined and projectile flags ? Are they meant to be projectiles ?
  • The sounds are kinda weak for how powerful this weapon is.
Besides that I don't see any other issues.

Also I think keeping them as projectiles would prevent problems, but I think I fixed everything, let me get it packaged in a pk3
also the palette is doom

Also I converted it to pk3 and fixed all the issues besides the decal to prevent issues

  • The new sounds replace some vanilla Doom sounds, you need to rename them to something that doesn't conflict with the IWAD sounds (and remove the ones you're not using).
  • I think it's too powerful for the amount of ammunition that uses, I can kill a cacodemon with less than 15 bullet shots. You should reduce the number of bullets per shot to 2, or give it a custom ammo type.
  • There's a custom pickup sound assigned, but it's not defined in the SNDINFO.
  • For consistency, the pickup sprite should be lying horizontally like the rest of the weapons in Doom, and the pickup text should say "You got the x" and then maybe add some funny text if you want to.
  • There is not a Flash state despite A_GunFlash being used in the Fire state. You should give it one.
  • I think the bullet puff would look better if Renderstyle is set to "add" instead of "translucent".

Now about the credits, it says the sprites were from Brutal Doom, but I can't find them in the latest release, from what version are them? Also I noticed parts of it were made by other people (the centered Riot Gun by Mike12, the chainsaw from Doom 64, and the hand was made by Amuscaria). Did SgtMark edited the sprites, or did they come from somewhere else?

Also the gun is supposed to be incredibly strong, but evened out by how fast it chews ammo and also I didn't even realise I made a custom pick up sound
edit I realized I read your request wrong, I think it chews up ammo pretty fine but I guess not, ill have to make an ammo
