Description:
A much more powerful and valuable armor bonus. Adds 10 armor bonus per pickup. If no armor is present at time of pickup, armor will act like green armor.

I understood what he meant, though there's no harm in clarifying the description a bit to mean the protection rate because yeah, it's a bit vague.ozymandias81 wrote: Then Jimmy needs to edit a bit its description IMHO, because it says that "...will act like green armor..." and nothing that regards protection rate instead. Relatedly, though, I think my only real criticism is that if you pick it up without already having armor, then it uses the standard armor bonus sprite as its armor icon; I feel it should use its own sprite. That's how the armor shard behaves, for example--it uses its own pickup sprite as the armor icon if the user doesn't already have armor.
Anyways, I like this a lot. I'm not going to lie; just based off the preview, I didn't care for the sprite very much due to its color scheme, but after loading it up in-game, I was actually pretty pleased; the full animation set makes the colors work. I can kind of see why these weren't used in the final game, but I think they're definitely worth using for something like this.

Interestingly, this is the case with GZDoom only. According to Graf, this inconsistency is intentional .

I didn't know that, actually; I mostly ever use GZDoom nowadays, so that's probably why. I still think it would be nice if this had 'Inventory.Icon "BON4A0"' included for the benefit of GZDoom users, but that's a very minor thing.Blue Shadow wrote: Interestingly, this is the case with GZDoom only.
